Shader based electrical swirl with particles
Everforest is a mobile game about restoring a forest by addressing various animal needs and ecological issues. By playing the game, actual trees get planted in the real world.
My role was technical artist and I was mainly creating VFX and shaders, troubleshooting technical issues for the art team and creating help docs. I also collaborated with the engineers to create systems for the game's unique and sometimes complex visual needs.
A favourite task on the project was writing Unity editor tools to solve problems such as level editing, marketing capture, asset unification and editor usability.
